Award: Platinum, Gold and Honorable Mention Wins

Consumers Energy’s Smart Bulb Campaign offers customers free home energy assessments, on-the-spot energy-efficient measures installs and customized reports. For their participation, customers were given LED smart bulbs. The initiative encouraged customers to explore and embrace energy efficiency with innovative programmable bulbs. Manager of Marketing Account Management Marilyn Purgatori and Marketing Account Manager McKenna Schwab said: “Winning Platinum, Gold and Honorable Mention 2025 Hermes Awards is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our marketing and creative teams. It highlights our commitment to delivering impactful campaigns that resonate with our clients and their customers.”

Client: FirstEnergy

Campaign: Potomac Edison's Energy Solutions for Business – Energy Champions Program

Award: Platinum Winner

Client marketing team: Marketing Account Manager Ciara Boatner, Producer Travis Burkett, Associate Creative Director Dan Lurie and Senior Marketing Manager Stephanie Woodson

FirstEnergy promoted friendly collaboration through the sports-themed Energy Champions Program where Program Allies received incentives to help area businesses achieve sustainability goals. “The goal of Energy Champions was to create a recognition campaign that motivates Program Allies, builds relationships and inspires growth. The Digital Out-of-Home strategy was to increase brand authority and capture attention through high-visibility placements in respected spaces,” said Senior Marketing Account Manager Stephanie Woodson.

Program Allies climbed the leaderboard based on the amount of energy savings their project generated and were then rewarded with physical awards to display in their office spaces and digital badges to share on social media platforms and in email signatures.

Client: SEMCO Energy Gas Company

Campaign: Home Maintenance & Energy Guide

Award: Honorable Mention Winner

Operations Consultant Mitch DeYoung and his team are thrilled that their client is being recognized for the collaborative marketing effort. According to Mitch, their goal was to resonate with customers while educating them about the benefits of natural gas. “Aligning on shared vision and values between the client and CLEAResult is critical to developing marketing strategies that not only reflect the utility’s commitment to energy efficiency and customer empowerment, but also ensure consistent messaging, regulatory compliance and measurable program success,” said DeYoung.

Client: Focus on Energy

Campaign: Energy Efficiency Madness

Award: Honorable Mention Win

Client marketing team: Associate Marketing Account Manager Jennifer Heveran, Copywriter Tara Kelly, Associate Creative Director Nathan Misutka, Graphic Designer David Sanchez and Producer Tabitha Sylvester.

Focus on Energy’s March Madness-inspired campaign, Energy Efficiency Madness, “positioned products as players, sharing Focus on Energy's starting players and their unique benefits, rebates and the strengths they can bring to your home,” said Associate Marketing Account Manager Jennifer Heveran. The innovative campaign encouraged customer engagement and separated the client's content from other social media. “Like CLEAResult, our client wants to share and promote transparent and honest ways people can increase their home's comfort and efficiency. The Efficiency Madness campaign is a lot of fun, and it also offers real insight into home improvements and rebates available to Wisconsin residents,” said Heveran.

CLEAResult is thrilled to share these achievements with our clients, all of which validate our joint commitment to energy efficiency and effective messaging. Manager of Marketing Account Management Jeri Gee said her team’s Hermes Creative Award win is the result of thoughtful planning, coordination with the client and creative development from team members including Associate Creative Director Sean Armstrong, Ground Work Productions Director Andrew Brown, Program Portfolio Manager Matt Charney, Program Manager Debralynn Fernandez, Associate Creative Director Nathan Misutka, Program Consultant Gonzalo Orona, Ground Work Productions Director of Photography Stuart Penny, Producer Manager Katie Prior and Senior Account Manager Leanna Sena. Gee says collaborative ideation and compelling storytelling helped to "ensure that the final product not only educated consumers but also aligned with our client's brand voice and energy efficiency goals – ultimately creating a campaign that resonates with the client’s local audience,” said Gee.
